2) Tell us about your blog.
I began blogging in March 2010 while I was enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. My blog is part of my business, SoulFull Wellness that is dedicated to helping people live more balanced and healthy lives. I love to blog about what I’m cooking, whether it’s a healthy twist on my favorite comfort food or a tasty new green smoothie. I also blog about self-care, creating balance and my life as a new mom.
My favorite blog post from 2011 is the post I wrote about my daughter’s birth. It was extremely personal and real, and it felt good to share the most important part of my life with my readers.

3) What is your definition of digital sisterhood?
Using technology to create community with other women. To empower us as women and celebrate what it means to be a woman in today’s society, whether you’re an entrepreneur, corporate lawyer or new mom.

5) The 2011 theme of Digital Sisterhood Month is ‘Celebrate the 4 Fs of Women’s Health: Feelings, Food, Fitness & Fierce Living.” How have you lived fiercely in 2011?
2011 has been the most amazing year of my life. During the first 6 months I managed to balance planning a wedding while being pregnant with my first child, getting married and running my business all at once. The last half of the year I have spent embracing new motherhood, connecting with new moms, and using my experiences to expand my business. But by far the fiercest thing I did was give birth to my daughter, Isabel Claire in September.
6) How do you stay positive and maintain peace of mind?
For me it’s really important to get some type of physical activity in each day, even if it’s just a short walk. I find moving my body always makes me feel better and helps clear my head. I also try to maintain a practice of daily gratitude. It can be hard to find the time to focus on these things but I manage to carve out a few minutes here and there, even if it’s while I’m nursing!
7) What are your favorite healthy foods?
I love greens! And I am absolutely addicted to peanut butter and bananas. I like www.vegetariantimes.com for recipes as well as www.andreabeaman.com.
How do you stay fit (walking, running, yoga, etc)? I do a lot of walking, yoga and sometimes jogging.

9) How are you planning to live fiercely in 2012?
2012 for me is going to be all about balancing being a mom while running my business and staying healthy myself. I want to continue to teach and inspire through yoga, run online classes for pregnant women and new moms and share lots of fun ways to stay healthy and sane while navigating new motherhood!
